Being realistic, that isn't just musicians and actors


No one really listens to arguments in favor of a stance they disagree with anymore.

One side effect of the ability to tune out or turn off anything we disagree with is...we do. Which means the art of a well-reasoned debate is just about lost in this country.

Any political discussion between people who disagree typically just turns into a facsimile of the Stephen A Smith show with people just screaming at each other and no one listening.
