So where are you putting your money in 2018?

besides under your mattress.

S&P had a good run in 2017 (and the last 5 years) but many analysts are calling for a correction in 2018 since we've been in an 8 year bull market (without a 10% correction). We're due.
But then, with interest rates due to rise, are bonds really a good place to be?
I've read that technology stocks/funds should do well despite almost a 50% gain this year.
Also, financial and health care but I'm wary of those two because of financial's volatility and high beta and health care's succeptibililty to legislative changes.

I've been in a robotics ETF called ROBO that I like. I think robotics is a great industry that has tremendous growth potential. I may add to that. Right now, I'm about 60% in fixed instruments (bonds/cash). Probably a little high but I'm spooked by the market run-up and think it's over-bought.

Maybe I should buy land.
