What I can't fathom is the standing ovation the mega-church gave him.


I'm going to try to dance very carefully around politics here and understand that I'm not offering commentary (at least intentionally) on Trump specifically HOWEVER, this is similar to me in that I feel like his supporters blindly support him and it does not matter what he says or does, they'll still support him. During the campaign he said (and I believe him) he could shoot someone on a crowded street and not lose any voters.

This guy says "I screwed up but I tried to make it right" and gets a standing ovation that, according to this link, lasted over 30 seconds. Wow.
