Short timers unwilling to learn new skills or accept change....


At my last job I worked closely with a guy in his early 60s. Nice guy but old & in the way. I asked my supervisor why he kept him around & he gave two reasons. First, they car pooled together, it was a 45 - 60 minute drive. Second, his wife was very ill with long term problems & he needed the health insurance.

Glad I retired before I became like that.
