In a vacuum, sure, people buy used cop cars
when the same guy is looking into body armor, buying thousands of rounds of ammo, and wants high capacity weapons, it should seem a bit off to people. But not here, not anymore.
I've said it before and i'll say it again. I grew up in rural virginia, hunted rifle, muzzloader, and bow for years. Fished pretty much every day of the summer and me and all my friends had guns. But none of us were loading up with thousands of rounds of ammo, or body armor, or high capacity clips. We wanted something that would shoot straight and kill a deer. I don't recall any of us or our dads talking about concealed carry, the govt coming to take our guns and all this other absurd BS that people worry about now. I don't get the shift from guns as a tool for hunting to the obsession with some imaginary boogey man we have to be ready to kill at a moments notices that has taken hold of people in the last few decades.
