So one of my husband’s co-workers and backup was injured whie riding in an Uber shuttle when commuting . The Uber crashed into another vehicle and it appears that the Uber was at fault. That part is still being determined. The friend was taken by ambulance to hospital and placed in concussion protocol. Since he is a pilot, the employer has very strict policy as to when a pilot may return to work after a concussion. The pilot is losing money and there has been a delay in compensation for missed wages from the Uber insurance The airline provided his schedule for the next several weeks and his rate of pay. The airline referred his case also to workmens Comp which is a joke Will take weeks for anything from them. So the friend is living off his own resources and doesn’t have that much in reserve since he just lost over half of what he once had in an ugly divorce situation
