If the app is on, it's Uber's insurance. I'd assume it was on while


they were riding with the guy. If no fault has been determined, I'd guarantee that no insurance policy in the world would just pay. And it's unclear whether or not the Uber driver was charged.

***edit. key line in the whole story: appears that the Uber was at fault. That part is still being determined.

Yeah. No insurance company is paying right away.
