There is also usually language in there that limits the $ amount of repairs


following the inspection to $1000 +/-.

So if the buyers want to blow their entire repair allowance to have a pro fix things, they certainly can.

Or you can counteroffer by subtracting the $1000 repair allowance from the purchase price and tell them to fix it themselves.

Or your agent most likely knows a licensed handyman who will fix everything on the list for a reasonable cost.

What you can't do is fix it yourself and say you had a pro do it.
