I buy higher quality, more expensive brands because they last

a hell of a lot longer than cheaper stuff. The North Face jacket I have today, I got 10 years ago in college. Still great, but it is the only North Face I have. Recently, I've gotten a lot of LL Bean clothing because it's just a better quality than other brands and so far, still feels like the first time I wore it after purchasing it.

Disclaimer: I have never shopped at H&M and Forever 21 as they are more female oriented clothing stores, but I would include stores like Old Navy, American Eagle, Gap into the cheaper clothing brand.
