Anyone know anything about bamboo flooring? We're looking into getting our

floors done and bamboo keeps coming up as a great option and supposedly good for the environment. However both Luna and Empire have told me that they stopped carrying it as it doesn't do well in all climates (I'm in Alexandria). I've done some Googling of it and it looks like it's either really durable and doesn't scratch, or it's really soft and scratches easily. If I'm dropping coin for floors I want those suckers to last/not scratch.
