I have bamboo in a condo. It’s engineered hardwood, with the wear layer

about 1/8”. I like it. It’s pretty durable. Doesn’t scratch easily. It won’t scratch if you drop something. However, dragging heavy furniture with a nail head protruding from a leg will scratch it. (Tough lesson.) Some versions of the bamboo engineered hardwood only have a paper thin bamboo top layer. Don’t get that product.
I also have LVT (luxury vinyl plank) in two rentals and laminate in my house. All have a wood plank floor look. All have been good for me. The biggest key to all of the flooring is good installation. If you want more info let me know.
