A lot can happen to school priorities in a few years. Schools may accept


commits now but change their minds later due to injuries, changes in team needs and the “next best thing” that comes along, not to mention coaching changes or philosophies. I see your point on parents getting antsy, etc. A lot of parents and kids don’t realize that sports at major Division 1 schools are full time jobs. I’ve seen a lot of burnout among kids aspiring to get college scholarships to play sports both before and after they get in college.
