Every body is different


Some lose weight easily and fast, others...not so much. And they could be the same weight and body type and have the same diet and exercise routine. So there is no standard (though I've heard 1-2 lbs a week is "normal").

As for goals, mirror test and belt test are the best. Forget the scale because muscle weighs more than fat so depending on your exercise, you might not lose weight. Or if you go pure cardio you might lose some muscle along with the fat. So lots of factors come into play. But good job and good luck.
