Two things...


1. Tankless water heaters are real energy savers, if you have gas. You'd need to figure out if the energy costs saved make up for the increased cost of the unit over the standard water heater.

2. If your water heater needs replaced, why not hire them to do it, even if all you want is the same kind of water heater?
