Renting sucks ...

I rented on my own n let myself get screwed ... what a PITA to get people out of YOUR house. First court visit gets them out in ten days, then wait for another court visit to get your money back. Lawyers won’t take the case so you are on your own to figure it out. I got royallyscrewed. Second occasion is a beach condo with a management company but they take 20% and you get charged whatever price comes up for any repairs without much input from you. Buy what you need for now, sell it when you leave
