I just purchased and it is friggin moving month with horses being moved. I did my homework, and it was an easy deal for the buyer agent. She happened to be an old friend, so I am ok with her compensation which the seller always pays. I was buying 150 miles away, and she handle anything where someone needed to be onsite (i.e. inspections).

Do your homework using realtor.com. Ignore zillow.

You determine which houses are in your price range etc.

The horse farm I brought would not be for everyone, but it was right for me. I paid a fair price.

The white building is not a house, but a huge 1500 square foot barn on the first floor and hay storage upstairs.

Good luck, but truthfully after seeing your intent with moving in the future, I would not be buying my first house.
