Yes, if you do not show up with an agent


then the seller wants both sides and never, never do that even if the seller agent reduces the commission down from 6 percent. There are legal implications since the seller agent represents both sides and as a buyer your getting nothing out of it.

I was ready to get a lawyer, and do it myself without a buyer agent. I am glad I did not. I got my house for what I thought was a fair deal and the transaction went quicker by having a buyer agent.
