Not a good situation. Would have been much better if it was an open...

...boat. They may have headed back to shore quicker if it was open too. Haven't gone through the Navy "dunker" trainers, its very difficult to exit a space like that if you can't go out of the window next to you. If the boat capsizes and turns over, YOU HAVE TO KEEP YOUR HAND-HOLD! If you let go, you've lost all situational awareness of where you are in the boat, and where the exits are located. I fully understand why so many died...they weren't prepared for that emergency situation.
