Why would he handle it at all? I would wonder about a guy that

1, feels a need to carry a gun around his back yard at all. Is he worried about a bear charging out of the woods or hopping over the fence? Or just feel the need to send a message to the other 5 year olds and adults? Neither is rational. If I'm a neighbor I am much more worried about conspracy dude than bears or a driveby.

2, I'm doubly worried if he handles the gun AT ALL if he's putzing around the back yard. Again, I don't care if the safety is on, he removes the magazine and clears the chamber.... why is he doing this in public and around kids and neighbors? If he did this it's about the show, not about anything rational.

I would never let my kids in their house unless I was there, period. One visit where I see all guns locked up or holstered (does the dude feel the need to carry inside his own house? Wtf?) Says nothing about the next time when conspiracy dude may want to go check his psycho web sites halfway through cleaning his guns. How many accidents happen in the homes of the supposedly responsible gun owner that forgot just one time.
