As someone who didn't watch the original Magnum (because, really?) I agree

I was never into watching a goofy dude with a 'stache and a gay butler (NTTAWWT) in Hawaii. But I was aware of the show at the time. This new show seems to make the mistake of "reimagining" with youth and an attempt at being serious. That's off brand.
