I'm guessing the 39.99 deal is for slower speed than you currently have


It's probably the speed almost no one chooses but they can advertise it for that just like new homes starting in the 200's (cheapest house is $299K base with no options or upgrades). So that would be my first thought.
Second, we cut the cord due to finances and I hate it. Would go back to cable tomorrow if I could. We currently use Amazon and Netflix and a few of our kid's channels (Nick Jr, Disney Jr, Boomerang) that have free apps. If you don't have cable, it becomes quite piecemeal so not a huge fan.
