To me Barnum is like professional wrestling...

...it's entertainment, is everything on the up and up? No, but people are usually fine with that because they are entertained. (Why Vince is commonly referred to as the modern day Barnum). I don't think anyone was entertained here.

I think any questions about whether this guy was a crook or not were clear when after the festival failure he started up the NY VIP thing selling fake access/passes.
