I don't know. People still got swindled. Does it matter if they were

relatively "well off" or if the event was "stupid"? It's crummy to take someone's money and not deliver the goods/services regardless of how much money the person had to begin with. It's obviously not the greatest injustice ever to happen to mankind but it's also not something I take joy/pleasure in.
