I watched it...I agree he was over his head...

...but he was also lying to investors, inflating numbers, etc. I'm not sure the festival started out as such, I think he was just delusional, he probably did think he could pull it off. But there were also red flags with other ventures prior that resembled what he was doing with NY VIP, which that one guy picked up on pretty quick.
