This looks like Fox is working itself out of the Big XII relationship.
Fox has backed out of showing Big XII Championship football games, and now ESPN is buying up the Tier 3 stuff for ESPN+.
We got the news recently where the PAC-12 rebuffed ESPN. This looks to me like ESPN is now interested in taking over the rights to the Big XII instead. This is good news for the Big XII. I also think that this will open the door for ESPN support of the Big XII expanding, particularly to the West. Maybe BYU, Colorado State, etc. Then ESPN would probably support WVU into either the ACC or SEC.
