I'd be willing to bet 50 yard line seats for next year's spring game that

your ending is better than what will unfold.

At this point, I'm invested and will watch to the end. But the quality of storytelling and the unexpected twists and turns have gone way down (and the plot holes have gone way up) since the show got ahead of the books. Since they are using professional TV story writers instead of the source material, things have gotten a lot more disjointed and predictable.
