I have a friend that does Air B-n-B in Blacksburg, but they aren't on a bus line or on the trail. I'll see what they think. You could also join some of the NRV yardsale, or Montromery county yard sale facebook pages and ask for what you seek. I see people asking for places to rent all the time, and they often get responses. Might be a different venue to try.

I hope you find something. Blacksburg would be a fun time to spend some time in during those months. Plus, all the outdoors stuff to do. I think I just like this place more, not having to go to classes. :-)
