The fort is open for anyone to tour. It's now a federal monument.


They rent out most of the houses on the grounds to anyone.

It's also free to walk through the museum, but they have a donation pot at the end. If you want to tour the museum, recommend parking next to the hotel (between the hotel and the large gazebo), then enter the fort at the SW corner. You'll walk right past the entrance to the museum...it's on that corner of the fort.

They also have a nice brewery, but that's outside the fort. You'll need to exit on the NE corner, then continue in that direction. I think it's about 150 yards from the fort.

Let me know if you're coming in to visit, and we can see if any loungers are up for a Lounge gathering.
