Watkins Glen, NY. South end of Seneca Lake. Beautiful place, and it's NOT

a NASCAR weekend, so it shouldn't be too crowded....but I would have greatly preferred a hotel.

But while growing up, my wife's family went camping frequently, so she wants that with our kids, and they do enjoy it too. So I suffer along.

On the bright side, maybe, just MAYBE, this weekend will make the kids hate it too. Or at least hate it in the middle of the summer.
