On the bright side, it's not like you're camping in Florida


Hopefully that won't be too uncomfortable at night.

When I was in flight school, we did a cross country to Sherbrooke Canada (which wasn't too far across the border) in August, and the evening temperatures were cool and crisp. It was very comfortable outside. Watkins Glen can't be more than 100 miles from there, right? :)

(Sherbrook is close to the US border; north of Burlington, VT/ east of Montreal.)

If this is too hot for you, recommend camping in Canada next year.
