Exactly

Heat and disease begin to encroach on yield beginning in August here in Roanoke. Mine peaked on August 5. My vines are slowly being swallowed by various infections. Interestingly, my best vine right now is Amish Gold Slicer, an heirloom with limited disease. Nothing has gotten to it yet. My second best vine is Japanese Black Trifele, another heirloom. My Sun Sugars are still quite prolific.

If you can coach your vines through to September, you may get a late crop of Sweet 100's. Cherry tomatoes tend to recover from the heat stress and through out new vine growth after Labor Day.
