I prefer the glass feeders, they last longer. I only put about 8 oz. in the


feeder, & change the solution after 4 days if there's any left. Don't want it to start fermenting. I mix 1 oz. of sugar to 4 oz. of hot water, make a little over 32 oz. I don't boil the water. Keep the extra in the frig. Never use dye. The feeder I use has an ant moat on the top.
