Make your own syrup (4/1)

Avoid using any red dye product. Unnecessary and potentially harmful.

Get the cheapest plastic feeder (Around $6) at WalNart. Works better than any glass feeder I've ever used. Keep it simple.

Avoid feeders with painted flowers on the glass. Scares the birds away in my opinion.
Avoid feeders with fake flower petal openings. The birds just laugh at your predictable trickiness.
