Some time ago I realized college sports

Are games played by 18-22 year olds and while I will pull for them during those 4-5 years, I would rather see their success in the years that follow. The passion displayed over on the Football board around a week 1 game on the road and its implications for the end of the world are frankly amazing. I guess it took until my 40s to realize the losses I took in sports were more valuable than most of the victories as far as who I turned out to be. I may have to stay away from the football board to maintain my sanity. Glad the Lounge has a better sense of humor.
