I get it.

I've been working 12 hour days and still am in the weeds with work and all my other obligations. Yesterday morning I called the nail salon and the only time they could fit me in was 4:00. I said fine. They let me try to find the game on their TV (that they usually have on HGTV) but they didn't get the ACCN. I didn't care. After I was done I had no idea what the score was, but decided to run an errand on the way home. No hurry. Heard some of the game in the car, but was remarkably unfazed. When I got home I turned it on and didn't even really watch. It's amazing how much I don't really care anymore like I did in the past. Fall is my favorite time of the year, but I realized that football was causing me to miss so many great other things, like going to the beach, hikes and other outdoors activities, doing work around the house. I still like football, and would still like to go to Blacksburg a couple of times in the fall, but I want balance now. I'm not going to let it keep me from doing other things.
