Yeah. It's interesting how a little perspective helps. My wife got really

sick this past year, and so I watched this game stone-cold sober. It was the first time in about 20 years.

In the past this loss would have ruined my day. The turnovers. My perception of stupidity of some of the decisions when in reality I've never played the sport competitively. This time I found I took it much more in stride.

The half came, and I took my dog for a walk. What a beautiful day it was outside! My dog wanted to go forever, and unlike in the past, I wasn't about to stop him. It was way too nice outside to hurry back for a stupid game. Instead, I watched the world go by, and we took our time. I only missed a few minutes.

I don't know. It was a completely different VT football game. I look back at yesterday, and compare it to the past. I'm looking forward to more days like yesterday.
