More times than not, probably so. That doesn't seem like a good reason to


not allow this kind of income.

You're not going to spend it wisely, therefore you can't have it!

Require some portion or all of it put in a trust, not recoverable until after college maybe in an annuity format. There are things that can be done by the NCAA to help the student athlete to this end. They are about helping the student athlete, right?
