Hollywood will always invest in the safest bet


when something sells, they continue the gravy train until it stops. How many Fast and Furious movies are out there?

My cousin is in the movie business, and there are some epic movies that aren't getting green-lit because financiers want the sure thing. Paradise Lost with Bradley Cooper is the best example. I think the big directors have movie ideas and things they would like to do but they aren't getting the funding and I think that's where their issues lie and they say "it's not true art". Guys like Cameron have the money to finance it themselves for the most part. Avatar sequels will start to hit next year.
