I'm in Chesterfield as well - the issue, from what I recall, is that we


voted yes on the measure for spending but voted no on the meals tax to fund it. I was all for the meal tax...they'll find a way to get the money but the meals tax is voluntary (I don't have to eat out) and as you noted, folks from out of town end up helping fund our schools, etc...
