Well, re-set is probably the improper word to use. So, you are claiming


absolutely no good comes from fasting? How about intermittent fasting?

This topic is actually nearly impossible to convince anyone of pro or con, you can find any research to back up either position. Confirmation bias to the max! This is why it's just personal choice. Works for some, not for others.

That being said, I found the most compelling benefits of fasting to be the effects it has on the body when undergoing chemotherapy.
