We already have this all figured out.


Each conference has a championship game that takes place one week after the regular season. The logistics and planning has already been established to support this game; there is no need to reinvent the wheel.

Presently, the bowl system has its first bowl on December 20 in 2019. The conference championship games took place on December 7 and that leaves an open weekend on the 14th.

The games could be set with the two lowest ranked host teams #3 and #4 at noon. The #2 host team at 4 PM and the #1 host team at 8 PM.
