Sure they are or your misunderstood what I was saying
AAC
Cincy - Clinched on Nov. 16
Memphis - Clinched on Nov. 29
AAC
Clemson - Clinched on Nov. 9
UVA - Clinched on Nov. 29
Big Ten
Ohio State - Clinched on Nov. 23
Wisconsin - Clinched on Nov. 30
Big XII
Oklahoma - Clinched on Nov. 9 or Nov. 16
Baylor - Clinched on Nov. 16 or Nov. 23
and so on for C-USA, MAC, MWC, Pac-12, SEC, and Sun Belt.
Now it may be a toss up on which division champion will be the host team (if the game is played at one of the school's stadium). However, if a conference opts to go the neutral site route, then it becomes a moot point on which team is the "home" team. My point was that most of the time the schools have more than 1 week to distribute the tickets to the CCG.
Given how much money could be at stake, I could see Playoff Inc. (and the schools) decide to expand the Playoffs to 8 teams and not include the CCGs as the Quarterfinal Round. If the CCG is included in the Playoffs, then conference may have to share the money generated from that game with Playoff, Inc. and the conferences or the school may not be in favor of that idea.
