Yeah, I have lived in boonies where I boasted my cell phone service

it cost me 500 bucks and had to run a coax for an inside antenna. Wilson is one of the first and better vendors in business , but times have changed.

I put the outside antenna on a 10 foot pole on my deck and run coax to the inside of house.

My first one got whack by a thunderstorm, so one thousand bucks over 10 years.

It is an expensive solution, but it is a fix cost over years. In my case, it costs me about $8.50 a month.

In the mountains, it took barely one bar on the deck to 3 to 4 bars steady under a tin roof. I got it working, and my boss let me work from home without asking. Save me a 120 mile round trip to work and paid off itself quickly.

I now moved to outside Richmond, and it takes two bars outside to 4 bars steady inside and I now have split the outside antenna to go to two indoor antennas (since I had the extra one from first purchase). I dropped the land line finally at my new house. If electricity goes, I do not have the cell antenna where a land line is great when electricity goes out. I still have two bars so for a few days that is fine and I can charge them via the cars.
