Here’s the issue
You’re not actually paying attention to what I am saying. Addiction IS A DISEASE. I’m not saying that he should be excused because “he is a kid”. You are creating a straw man argument to justify the way you feel.
If you’re going to tell me I’m wrong, come at me with facts, not the basic rote argument of “he should’ve known better”.
If you’ve ever felt the pull of addiction (and if you haven’t experienced it in your life, then you are an extremely lucky person) the. You can’t possibly fathom how difficult it is to not feed that addiction, ESPECIALLY when under the pressure these world class athletes are under.
And besides, if you think it’s ok to celebrate someone having a drug problem just because it gives your preferred athletes a better chance to win, then I’m probably wasting my breath on you because you’re not the type of human being to show empathy or the willingness to understand a different point of view.
