Where did I say bail him out?
You are also creating a straw man argument. I suggest you look up what that means.
I said we should be supporting him and trying to get him healthy. How would that be bailing him out? Would you prefer to put him in prison? Wouldn’t you be “bailing him out” then? It’d still be your tax dollars. So why not heal someone so they don’t revert to the same issues that landed them here in the first place instead of creating an environment where drug use is seen as a necessary way to cope with life?
Again, like I said to the other guy, if you’ve never been unlucky to experience addiction in your life, don’t come at me with a holier than thou attitude. Come at me with facts, and then I’ll be willing to listen. Until then, you’re yelling at clouds.
