I can see where you're coming from ...


I think this year's team set the bar after beating Ohio St. and we never quite hit that mark again, at least not in the top 5 - 10 dual meets (we were close). These will sound like excuses, but just think if we had a healthy Myers, at 125 or 133 and Lewis had wrestled as well. Again, imagine an ACC tourney with Myers, Moore (injured), and Lewis. Do we come in 5th, no way. Half of our line up featured first time starters, not counting their redshirt season. Also, when you look at this years lineup, a lot of these kids were not elite high school wrestlers. I do think our staff has developed talent and recruiting has been amazing the last couple of years. Hopefully Bolen can bring home another national championship for this team, which keeps us very relevant to high school recruits. Keep pulling in those elite PA, NJ, and Ohio kids and I think we are going to like where we are in a few years.
