I think you’re missing the point on flattening the curve. It’s not just

about ventilators or even ICU beds. It’s about resources and manpower in general. It’s about people dying from otherwise treatable conditions because the hospitals are overwhelmed. People don’t just stop having heart attacks, accidents, allergic reactions, etc just because Coronavirus exists.
