Many printers won't connect over your home 5G network, so you need to


connect it to the lower 2.4GHz band to get it to connect.

Have you installed the driver package from the manufacturer on your computer? If not, you are probably just using the generic windows driver.

If you connected to the printer with a USB cable, the computer should see the connection and attempt an install on its own.
