I was thinking about movie theaters yesterday. Specifically how long will

it be before we start seeing people going to the movies again. It seems like being in an enclosed space with relatively little fresh air around strangers for two hours is about one of the prime ways to get infected. Even at 25% capacity it sounds risky. And then there's the fact that just about every major movie has been pushed back to the end of this year or next year. Will theaters open if there aren't any blockbusters releasing on top of all the new restrictions they have to put in place? And studios likely aren't going to release their blockbusters without theaters in major markets (NY,LA) being open.

Before all this happened we had Regal Unlimited and we went to the movies probably 2-3 times a week. We'd usually wait for the big name releases to be out a few weeks before seeing them. Now I'm wondering if there will even be a Regal once this over and what the movie theater experience will even look like.
