It was 100% driven by Regal Unlimited. The Regal is about 5-10 minutes

from our house and paying $25/month each we were able to see any non-3d movie any time as many times as we wanted to. Given that one ticket was $11 we only really need to see 3 movies a month to make it worthwhile. We originally got back into going to the movies when MoviePass came out. We knew it probably wouldn't last long (we paid $90 each for a YEAR subscription to see unlimited movies) so we got our money's worth while we could. I think I saw over 30 movies in the 4-6 months when MoviePass was at its prime and my wife saw even more than that. Then the company went bankrupt (no surprise). Regal's plan was more expensive but also more sustainable b/c it was through the theater itself whereas MoviePass was literally paying $11 every time someone used the card to buy a ticket.

I definitely saw some movies I liked that I otherwise never would have checked out... JoJo Rabbit comes to mind.
